Danella Rugile earned her Law Degree from Santa Clara University, School of Law, where she was the recipient of an Emery Merit Scholarship and the Gerald Moore Scholarship for International Human Rights.
Danella firmly believes all members of our community deserve legal representation. Early on in her legal career Danella Rugile served as a volunteer attorney for the Pro Bono Project of Silicon Valley, assisting on cases involving survivors of Domestic Violence. She represented parties in domestic violence cases with various organizations, including representing low-income litigants in civil domestic violence hearings in Santa Clara Superior Court.
Prior to attending law school, Danella was a Parent Facilitator at the Redwood City Child Development Centers. She worked with low-income parents of preschoolers, empowering them to take charge of their children’s education. Danella also hosted a support group for Father's to encourage and empower them to play an active role in the education of their children. In addition, Danella acted as a mediator between parents and teachers if disputes arose, helping both sides reach an amicable resolution.
